Supporting
Airport Customers the ESP Way!
ESP
provides rapid response break fix IT services at all major
UK and most major European airports, working with airlines,
airport authorities, common user environment providers,
baggage reconciliation providers, travel companies and
retail systems providers.
Why ESP.co.uk?
Each
contract that ESP.co.uk takes care of is treated at the bid
stage with the same level of consideration, whether it is
for two back-office computers or for a thousand common-use
workstation positions.
Every
airport is community-lead to some degree or another and
ESP.co.uk understands this relationship and tailors each
solution accordingly. Naturally a model that works well for
one airport will not necessarily work well for another and
shift patterns need to account not just for the hours of
coverage, but also the peaks and troughs of the loading
patterns and the geography of the airport. Considerations
don’t stop there as the demands on contractors to ensure the
security and health and safety of those using the airport
continue to escalate.
You break
it, we fix it!
…being of
course the traditional format of an IT support contract. But
if you have the staffing levels and cover correct, break /
fix contracts become a routine process, indeed one which
many companies feel they could easily fulfil. What
differentiates ESP.co.uk from our competitors is our
unswerving drive to reduce the numbers of in-service
failures in the first place. This might seem on the surface
to be a contradiction for a service company whose revenue is
derived from equipment going wrong. However, with a
carefully managed program of asset control, priority
management of workshop repairs, preventative maintenance and
trend analysis the numbers of in-service failures can be
reduced dramatically. That is less failures to stop the end
user from working which generates greater confidence in the
systems and gives ESP.co.uk more time to spend working on
other ways to prevent the equipment failing in the first
place! The major benefit of this approach is an extension
to the life of the Customer’s equipment and a protection of
their initial capital outlay.
Value Add
One weakness that might be perceived of a company
specialising in a particular field is the inability to
provide subsidiary services. However ESP.co.uk’s experience
in commercial sectors other than the travel related industry
has resulted in a host of value added services.
